Welcome to the
Froh Collective Studio!
Hi, I’m Erns.
Before you browse, I want to make a promise: everything you find in this shop is here to treat your nervous system with kindness. In the design world, we often treat art as mere decoration, but at Froh Collective, we know that design is biology.
That is why I am so passionate about biophilia - our innate, evolutionary connection to the natural world. Even simply viewing photographs or graphics of natural forms has been proven to lower cortisol levels, reduce your heart rate, and foster a sense of feeling safely held. The pieces in this shop aren't just meant to fill a blank wall; they are carefully chosen tools to add beauty, comfort, and biological safety to your home.
My love affair with the camera started long before I became a WELL Accredited interior designer. During my very first week at the Faculty of Architecture, I was thrown into a class called Urban Media Lab. It was essentially a grueling, brilliant crash course in drawing and photography. In design school, documentation isn't just a hobby; it’s an essential survival skill. You have to learn how to truly see the world before you can redesign it.
Over the years, that skill evolved into a deep-seated passion. I’ve had the immense privilege of travelling to some of the greatest cities on earth - including Istanbul, Amsterdam, New York, New Orleans, Barcelona, and Rome. As a designer, my brain is permanently wired to notice the odd, quiet details that others might walk right past, like the way light hits a brick, or the specific, fractal geometry of a leaf.
During my graduate studies, I took a spring term class with a professor. We travelled to Montreal and Ottawa, diving deep into the history, the mechanics, and the significance of making photographs. We culminated the term with an exhibition back at the Faculty of Architecture. Since then, I’ve photographed everything from the intricate details of historic buildings to the high-stakes joy of a wedding.
These days, you'll mostly find me at home in Victoria, BC. My partner David and I are avid gardeners, so I spend a great deal of time tending to our yard, getting my hands in the dirt, and photographing the fruits of our labour. It is my ultimate practice in biophilia, and I am so thrilled to share some of these quiet moments with you.
A Note on Froh Good:
We believe that your home should care for you, and that our business should care for the community. As always, a portion of everything we do at Froh Collective goes to our philanthropic branch! The Froh Good page will be ready shortly - I’m so excited to share what we’ve got planned!
A percentage of all SALE REVENUES goes directly into the Froh Good Fund, helping to bring creativity and resources back into our community. We operate this on a sliding scale:
5% for sales valued at $50 and under
10% for sales valued at $100 and under
15% for sales valued at $150 and under
20% for sales valued at $200 and under
25% for sales valued over $250
Thank you for being here, and for letting my work into your space.
A Note on
Quality & Shipping:
To ensure every piece arrives looking beautifully crisp and true to colour, all of our prints are professionally printed and handled by Art of Where, headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
I chose them for two reasons. First, their quality is consistently exceptional. Second, it is a matter of practical kindness for your wallet. As much as David and I love living on Vancouver Island, shipping directly from here can quickly become cost-prohibitive for you. By partnering with a central Canadian hub like Art of Where, we keep shipping convenient, fast, and accessible, so you can focus on the art, not the postage.
For more details on our return policies, please refer to the
Return & Replacement Policy section at the bottom of this page.

Let’s talk about returns. Policies are usually full of cold, rigid jargon, but here at Froh Collective, we believe even the logistical side of your home should come with a soft landing. We want to make sure the process of curating your space doesn't cause an unnecessary cortisol spike.
Here is exactly how our return process works, with total transparency:
Our Return & Replacement Policy
Damages and Manufacturing Errors
We know that sometimes the mail system is less than kind to packages, or a rare printing error slips through. If your artwork arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect (like a smudge or a severe colour issue), please don't stress. We will make it right.
Our printing partner, Art of Where, will completely cover the return shipping costs for any manufacturing defects or damages. We will seamlessly arrange for a replacement to get to you.
General Returns
To keep our environmental footprint small and the quality exceptionally high, every single print is custom-made to order just for you. Because of this, we highly encourage you to double-check your measurements before checking out so the art fits your space exactly as you envision.
However, we are all human, and sometimes a piece just doesn't feel right once it's in your space. If you need to initiate a return for a change of heart or a wrong size, we can accommodate that. In these cases, please note that the return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
How to Process a Return or Replacement
If you need help with an order, please take a deep breath, and then follow these steps:
Email Us: Reach out to us at care@frohcollective.com. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and if the item is damaged or defective, please attach a few clear photos of the print and the packaging it arrived in.
The Soft Landing: I will review your request and get back to you with the next steps. Once your return is granted, customer service will provide you with the correct return shipping address depending on your location.
The Timeline: To process your refund or replacement, the returned item must be received back at the provided address within 30 days after your return request is granted.
If you have any questions before you order, please reach out. We want you to feel entirely safe and confident bringing this art into your home.
