Bring a touch of regal elegance to your space with this captivating top-down botanical print. This fine art photograph beautifully highlights the extraordinary, crystal-like spiky fringes of a rich purple tulip. The open petals naturally draw the eye down into the flower's dramatic, dark blue-black heart and bright yellow stamens. Grounded by a natural earthy background with delicate, creamy-white tulips peeking through in the distance, this photograph is a stunning celebration of spring's intricate textures and bold jewel tones. It is the perfect statement piece for adding a sophisticated, natural pop of color to any room.

Note on Print Borders: My digital art prints are perfect for framing - so I’m offering border options ranging from 1 inch to 2 inches. Your images is scaled down to leave space for the border - the paper size will always be the size that you order, regardless of border size. There is also a ‘no border’ option for full-bleed prints.

Digital Prints are available in 8” x 8”, 8” x 10”, 12” x 12”, 11” x 14”, and 12” x 16” sizes ONLY.

Fine Art Prints are available in ALL sizes!

Because we grew this flower in our garden (Zone 9a), I also have some more information for you, courtesy of David!

Common Name: Purple Fringed Tulip (Crispa Tulip)

Scientific Name:Tulipa (Crispa Group)

Hardiness Zones: Zones 3–8

Sunlight Requirements: Full sun to partial shade

Cool Facts: The bold, rich jewel tones of purple fringed tulips are made even more dramatic by their signature frayed edges, a result of a cultivated genetic mutation. The dark, contrasting center visible in this bloom - often called the "eye" or "basal blotch" - is an evolutionary trait designed to guide pollinators directly to the flower's nectar. Like other Crispa tulips, their sturdy, weather-resistant petals give them incredible durability.
