Scientific Name:Tulipa (Crispa Group)
Hardiness Zones: Zones 3–8
Sunlight Requirements: Full sun to partial shade
Cool Facts: Because of their lack of pigment, white fringed tulips are often compared to delicate ice carvings, frosted glass, or snowflakes. Like other Crispa tulips, their distinctive frayed edges are the result of a genetic mutation. These varieties also boast exceptionally thick petals, giving them incredible durability against spring showers and a long lifespan, which makes them highly photogenic subjects.
