Planning Ideas are Here!

Planning Idea - 12” x 16” Print (4)

Let's talk about the invisible framework of your home. I say this all the time, but I need you to hear it again today: Mess is not a moral failing; it is a design failure. If your living room constantly feels chaotic, if you can never seem to fully relax on your own sofa, or if the energy in a room just feels off, you aren't broken. You aren't lazy. It is highly likely that your floor plan is simply fighting your biology.

When we just push furniture against the walls, or ignore how our bodies need to move through a space, we accidentally trigger our own stress responses. We need Refuge (a protected back) and clear circulation paths so our nervous systems don't have to stay on high alert, scanning for threats.

That is why I am so incredibly excited to introduce a new section to the Froh Collective Studio Shop: Planning Ideas.

These are essentially architectural cheat codes. I am taking the spatial planning principles I use as a commercial Interior Designer and democratizing them, so you can apply them to your own home. A floor plan isn't just geometry; it is a behavioral script for your nervous system.

How it works: Because we are practicing pacifism against hustle culture around here, I am not going to overwhelm your nervous system (or mine!) by dropping a massive catalog all at once.

Right now, I have uploaded the first two planning ideas: a cozy 8 x 8 layout and a more expansive 12 x 16 layout. Moving forward, I will be adding one new planning idea every day.

You can find them over on the Shop page, scrolling just below the art prints.

Let's stop fighting our architecture and start arranging our rooms to treat us with radical kindness.

Stay safe. Stay froh.
